Shawn Merriman has multiple injuries to his knee and could miss the entire season. A lot of key players going down in preseason.

Christ, he is going to try and play...could ruin his career. I can't believe the SD front office isn't going to step in and knock some sense into that guy. He's an investment, and the Chargers are loaded. They can get by a year without him.
