I was surprised Droughns stuck. Coughlin must like him, and I must admit he has been a solid soldier for this team. Whimper was placed on IR and I hear they are going to release him thru an injury settlement. I think he played sloppily this preseason and it cost him. I was also surprised Goff didn't go to IR, so the Giants must feel he will be able to contribute sometime this season.

and forget to mention R.W. who, like Droughns, the staff really likes having around.
